The purpose of this website is to provide you, as an existing or prospective Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Qualified Retirement Plan ("QRP") fiduciary/sponsor client, with access to disclosure documentation in order to meet the requirements of the new U.S. Department of Labor regulations under Section 408(b)(2) of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974, as amended ("ERISA"), effective July 1, 2012. Under the regulations, Morgan Stanley Smith Barney is required to provide certain information regarding our services and compensation to assist you—as a plan fiduciary/sponsor—in assessing the reasonableness of your plan's contracts or arrangements, including the reasonableness of Morgan Stanley Smith Barney's compensation.

This website includes the required disclosure documents by retirement plan type (i.e., VIP, RPM or EBT), to provide you with the service and compensation disclosures that could potentially apply to your Qualified Retirement Plan.

We suggest that you begin by reviewing the main QRP Disclosure Document (entitled as such), which will in some cases direct you to other "referenced disclosure documents" (that have also been made available on this website) for additional information regarding the offered services and Morgan Stanley Smith Barney's compensation. These disclosure documents, and any updates to them, can also be accessed electronically on this website (but you can, of course, request hard copies of these documents as updated from time to time).

We would also like to inform you that, as further described in the QRP Disclosure Document, you, as a plan fiduciary/sponsor, will be receiving communications that will provide information about any service or compensation changes that could potentially impact your plan.

Please note that some information in these disclosure documents may be helpful to you in creating participant disclosure under Department of Labor Regulation Section 404a-5, which requires plan sponsors/administrators to provide certain information to plan participants.
